should i get back together with my ex girlfriend?

we had only been going out for a few weeks, and she decided to break up with me after being convinced by someone else to go out with her.

now she is saying she wants me back, and she doesnt know why she let me go in the first place.
i have a party which is coming up and i really need to take someone, and without her im not sure who i would take.

what should i do?

Don’t think you should do it if it’s only for taking her to a party. If you like her still maybe you could give her another chance but remember that would be opening yourself up to get hurt. So it all comes down to how much you trust her,like her, and think that she won’t leave again.
