Is there a possibility that you and your ex would get back together?

If we are both in new relationships with other people and we broke up becuz of the distance , and we still communicate with one other we still say i love you but its a friend i love becuz we dnt love each other like we use to but..we still talk and were best friends now..we tell each other mostly everything. is there a possibility that we will get back together sooner or later…..someone pls help i really need some advice…
