Dealing With a Breakup – Finding the Way to Healthier Healing
Many times when a relationship implodes this means that we are dealing with a breakup without the best mental frame of reference as our mind seems literally racing out of control! Research has shown that we can become very unbalanced and unpredictable when we are working through a broken relationship.
A vast number of us go way deep into the pits of hell and do not want to come out because we feel like we have died! While others drink a lot, take drugs, curse, scream and run wild & rampant without a care in the world!
Yep, I would definitely say that dealing with a breakup is damn serious stuff! Can I get an Amen to that? Thank you.
Here is how to have a breakthrough with a breakup. Put into effect these 3 Initial actions in dealing with a breakup as fast as you can.
1.> Take a Break and Chill. If you have to cry then cry your butt off if necessary and accept the fact that you have broken up. Yes, you do hurt. In fact, you probably hurt a whole bunch, but it is vitally important that you show self-control, character and solid judgment as you both work through a very challenging time period.
2.> Stop, Look, Listen! Carefully think about what was the reason behind the breakup? You have to be able to clearly define what these triggers were that escalated thing to the level of breaking up.
3.> New Information Overload! Study relationship saver e-books, listen to self help cd’s to educate yourself regarding the dynamics of relationship building that are necessary ingredients to building a long-term quality relationship.
If you have read the above information carefully you have noticed that the pattern here is to help you clean up and clean out negative, stinking-thinking patterns that are usually dominating thoughts when dealing with a breakup. Next we want to infuse your brain with positive nourishing information that first helps YOU.
Once you have gotten yourself straight and balanced in heart, mind and spirit it is much easier to rationally look at how you should be working towards rebuilding your broken relationship.
Unfortunately, most people having to handle breakup do so with big-time negative energy. I am suggesting that you get plugged into a much better way. A way that fosters growth, improves your knowledge and skills.
This is the healthier way and it is the best way!
